Is a review of the literature the same as a literature review?

Presenters: Rhonda-Joy Sweeney, Heather Gunn and Catherine Lyman.
Supported by Fran Clements

Our post-graduate students are instructed to support their assignment writing with a critical evaluation of relevant theory and evidence from the literature. However, Grant and Booth (2009) provide an analysis of 14 different review types!  Determining what is required from the students writing and assessing appropriately is timely in supporting evidence-based practice for health professionals.
