Stop-motion animation top tips
- Stop-motion is a possible way to illustrate an abstract process or anything that you can't actually point a camera at.
- Make sure you plan and script any animation before you start, as it's time-consuming to create compared to recording something with a camera. If you're combining your animation with live-action, it's a good idea to edit your live-action footage before you do the animation, so you know exactly what you need to create.
