 Summary of Course Description:              

 This course will revise and extend the study of complex sentences in Latin, provide regular translation practice, and read and analyse selected Latin texts with a main focus on understanding their use of language.

 Assessment Summary:

100% coursework (no final exam)

5 translation exercises: 20%

2 tests: 50%

commentary assignment: 30%

Prescribed Texts:

Course materials will be provided, but students should get hold of a Latin/English; English/Latin dictionary.
