Acquire - How to search - Field specific searching
Ask | Acquire/Find | Appraise | Apply | A self evaluation
When you conduct a general keyword search, the database will retrieve the keywords anywhere they appear in the article.
This could include the title, abstract, and subject heading fields, as well as anywhere in the article text. Any result containing those keywords will be retrieved, even if that is not a major focus of the article.
Field-specific searching is a good way to reduce the number of results you find and make the results more specific.
Try limiting to Title only
A good tip if you are getting a lot of non-specific results is to search only in the title of the article.
This gives results where the terms must appear in the title of the article.
