The main content including the videos, comics and scenarios in this Canvas Training Hub is based on materials that were developed and updated over a number of years at the University of Auckland involving colleagues from the Centre of Academic Development (disestablished) with assistance from staff members across the university including the Faculty of Science, with input from tutors and lab demonstrators.
The current resource was prepared in January 2022 by Marion Blumenstein, Curriculum Development Manager (FoS) and Heera Kim (Ranga Auaha Ako/UoA Learning Design Team) in consultation with TA /GTA coordinators, namely Mandy Harper from Biological Sciences, Ruth Cink from Chemical Sciences, Andrea Mead from Psychology, and Emma Lehrke from Statistics, and previous teaching assistants who took the time to respond to a questionnaire about what they'd like to have as part of a training resource.
