Training for staff through Career Tools

Several online, short modules are freely available through Career Tools that relate to Equity. To navigate to these go to the Staff Intranet, and locate Career Tools under the Human Resources tab. Here is a selection but there are many more.

Disability awareness - universal design for learning (free course)

Disability Confidence 101: this is a free course and part of the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) Kia Orite toolkit. The course is freely available through Achieve, which is a national network established to ensure equal opportunity and access to post-secondary education and training for people with impairments.

Take an Implicit Bias test: This test has been designed to raise awareness of implicit bias and encourage self-reflection.
