Welcome to ANCHIST 220

Egyptian Language 1B

This is a continuation of ANCHIST 210 - Egyptian Language 1A. We will be finishing off the grammar and begin reading an Egyptian text, the Westcar Papyrus, or "King Khufu and the Magicians". The reading of the text will overlap with the end of the grammar.

Unlike ANCHIST 210, ANCHIST 220 will have a class participation component, which will include class preparation. It's difficult to participate if you haven't prepared.
