GERMAN 102: German Language Introductory 2

Prescribed text The prescribed text is a completely new book as of 2017, not just a newer edition of the one we used to use, i.e. you can't use hand-me-downs. Print version AND Print version |
Regarding the books, you have two options:
1. hard copy option: available from:
- bookdepository.com for approx. NZD 70 together (but delivery takes 2-3 weeks!)
- UBS for approx. NZD 120 together
2. ebook option (linked below), approx. EUR 40
so far comes split into two parts, but the contents are the same

You must have the books (print or ebook) by the time semester starts. Within the first week alone, we will cover three chapters.

course aims & objectives
This course is designed for students with previous knowledge of German at A1 level, and it leads students to reach CEFR A2 level. The approach is communicative, and German is the principal language of instruction. The course provides students with a sound basis of spoken and written German.
