course aims & objectives
In this course, students are taught the theory, practice and critical evaluation of translation, principally of texts translated from German into English.

6 - Flags and symbols
7 - Dialects and translation practice
8 - Peer editing of translations
9 - Literary translations, comparison of translations

11 - AVT (audio video translations)
12 - Conclusion

- 2 tests (culture and theory, nominally 1000 words each): 15% (2 x 7.5%)
