English 781: Research Project

Sem 2 2020

30 points

In 2020 English 781 will not function as a course with required meetings and activities. However, the staff member currently in the role of Graduate Director/sub-doctoral admissions advisor for English will hold two meetings in the semester for any English 781 students who wish to attend, the first in Week 1, to cover supervision and the research process,  and the second in Week 6, to cover research, drafting and writing. These are the sessions past English 781 students found most helpful. They provide an opportunity to share ideas and methods as well as to ask an academic staff member questions. I will email everyone enrolled in English 781 ahead of these meetings to remind you that they are coming up, and you can email me with any questions you have as the semester proceeds. I am also the person to contact should any issues arise throughout the semester regarding illness, need for an extension request and so on. My email address is: es.bremner@auckland.ac.nz
